Reverie is designed around the concept of being at peace, floating in positive thoughts. The top case appears as if it is hovering above the bottom, with accented bends in the case that give the case a soft appearance.

The Dusk 67 by KBDfans with Red Samurai Keycaps and Gateron Oil King Switches
The Dusk67 by KBDfans is a custom mechanical keyboard that not only combines aesthetics and performance but also demonstrates excellent craftsmanship. The build I opted for features a wooden case with a hot-swappable PCB and a polycarbonate plate. This setup is paired with Gateron Oil King switches, which are linear and produce a deep, satisfying sound, topped with GMK Red Samurai keycaps. These doubleshot ABS keycaps contribute to the deeper sound profile. This keyboard is ideal for enthusiasts who appreciate the use of natural materials.
In terms of functionality, this keyboard operates like any other—you simply plug it into your PC or laptop via USB, and you're ready to type. However, the premium materials used in both the wooden case and keycaps set it apart from the typical plastic keyboards commonly found on the market. It is a more niche product, primarily appealing to those who care about the craftsmanship and design of their peripherals.
The cost of this setup is steep at $387.35, which is significantly higher than most standard mechanical keyboards, even customized ones. Comparable wooden keyboards can be found on platforms like Amazon, Etsy, or AliExpress, often at a lower price. While these alternatives may not offer the same quality, they provide a similar aesthetic at a fraction of the cost.
Given its high price tag, I wouldn’t recommend this keyboard to the average user. Unless you are specifically seeking a wooden 65% keyboard with premium switches and keycaps, there are plenty of other more budget-friendly options available. The only real reason to splurge on this would be if you are deeply invested in custom mechanical keyboards.
Since I just got it yesterday and finished building it, I haven't had much time to extensively type on it and fully assess its feel. Based on its price, niche appeal, and the building experience, I would give it a rating of 5/5.
