Among all mechanical keyboard mounting structures, Top mount has remained one of the tried and trusted mounting designs that many enthusiasts favour due to its consistent feeling and balance between relief and rigidity and now the KBD8X MKIII Keyboard comes with 9 mounting points.
Silicone Gasket
By adding 18 pcs silicone sockets where the plate is clamped, an element of cushioned dampening is added to this mounting style. This will provide a good balance between stiffness and crisp typing feel, and won't feel as fatiguing when typing for long periods of time.
Exploded View
Based on the original foam kit, we added an extra piece of bottom foam to further reduce the gap at the bottom of the keyboard. Please place the foams to customize the sound according to your preference.
And different versions are used for solder and hot-swap PCB.
